Five-button EV1527 RF transmitter for everyday control

The RK2503 is a compact five-button wireless remote for compatible 315 MHz and 433.92 MHz receiver systems. It uses EV1527 learning code with ASK modulation and is intended for straightforward multi-command control of LED lighting, fans, smart switches and other low-voltage receiver applications.

Five separate buttons give the installer more flexibility than a basic one- or two-button transmitter. Depending on the receiver logic, the buttons can be assigned to individual channels, lighting scenes, speed selections or commands such as ON, OFF and mode change.

Frequency and receiver compatibility

The standard frequency options are 315 MHz and 433.92 MHz, with other frequencies available for project customization. Frequency alone does not guarantee compatibility. The receiver must also support the transmitter's EV1527 learning-code format and ASK modulation.

Before ordering a replacement or additional remote, confirm the receiver frequency and learning method. If the receiver model is unknown, send clear photos of the receiver board, label and existing transmitter. For volume projects, test one sample with the actual receiver before approving production.

The RK2503 is a transmitter only. The final output behavior—momentary, toggle, latched or interlocked—is determined by the paired receiver and its configuration.

Practical operating range

The specified control distance is approximately 30 m in an open area. Installed range depends on the receiver antenna, building materials, nearby metalwork, electrical noise and the condition of the CR2032 battery. Operation through reinforced concrete, metal cabinets or dense equipment will reduce the usable distance.

For stable performance, position the receiver antenna away from power wiring and metal enclosures. Confirm range at the actual installation site instead of relying only on an open-field test.

Compact battery-powered design

The white plastic enclosure uses a CR2032 coin-cell battery and provides five clearly separated buttons. The lightweight format suits handheld use and OEM pairing with compatible receiver products. Battery life depends on operating frequency, transmit duration and how often the remote is used.

Ordering information

When requesting a quotation, specify the required frequency, receiver model, button function and expected order quantity. Other frequency options, button assignments, logo marking and packaging can be reviewed for OEM projects. If the remote will be paired with an existing device, provide the original system information so compatibility can be checked before shipment.
