The RH1 & R16 kit combines a compact key fob remote with a single-channel relay receiver for local wireless switching. It suits installations where the operator wants a control that can stay on a keyring, with the receiver mounted beside the light, equipment or control panel being switched.
Choose the key fob that fits the control task
The source gallery shows a single-button key fob alongside two-button A/B and ON/OFF versions. Specify the required transmitter layout and relay behavior when ordering so the paired kit matches the application. These key fob configurations use the RH1 receiver and differ from the larger handheld RH1 & R21 kit.
Compact keyring remote for convenient everyday carry.
Single-button and two-button layouts illustrated in the product gallery.
One relay output for a compatible load or control circuit.
Learning-code pairing and visible LED indication.
AC or DC 12–48V receiver input
The RH1 receiver is marked for AC/DC 12–48V power. Its supply terminals are identified as GND and V+, while the separate relay contacts are marked NO, COM and NC. Check the supplied unit and its wiring requirements before connection, especially when choosing the supply type and the voltage of the switched circuit.
Normally open and normally closed relay contacts
The normally open, common and normally closed terminals support different switching arrangements. The marked maximum current is 10A; practical switching capacity depends on voltage and load type. For equipment with high starting current, use an appropriately rated contactor or interface rather than assuming the relay can switch the load directly.
Plan the wireless link
The illustrated receiver operates at 433.92MHz, and the listing also offers a 315MHz version. Select matching frequency and coding for the transmitter and receiver. The listing attributes give a control distance of 10–50 metres, while one promotional image claims a longer open-area distance. Confirm the selected transmitter version and test the installed link rather than treating the longer figure as a guaranteed range. Walls, metal cabinets and local interference can reduce usable distance.
Practical applications and selection checks
The kit can provide local control for compatible lighting circuits, home automation and equipment inputs. For a gate or garage-door installation, check the existing controller input and use the relay as an interface where suitable.
Confirm the receiver supply and required RF frequency.
Select the key fob button layout and required relay operating behavior.
Check load voltage, current and any inrush requirements.
Confirm whether a normally open or normally closed connection is needed.
Test pairing and range in the final mounting location.
